| i just dont understand how people can kill each other simply because of pure hate or jealously. it saddens me soo much and i am still trying to question or understand "why?" what was the motive? i didnt think of it when i saw it on the news and i came home and my mom told me- i am still in shock and i just remember that she gave me so many jeans and a TV that i brought to college. i went to her sons first birthday too and i hope we can welcome him into the family. she lost touch with us this past year-- RIP Dieu Nguyen

| I have a little over a month before I set off for South America. It's so exciting to be able to book my program and I'm getting close to booking my ticket. I just can not believe I am doing this and saved about 4500 on my own. My family and babysitting families have been ever so generous to supply me with other funds towards my trip. I am forever thankful because I would not have made it without their help.
I'm excited and I know i'll be having fun while immersing myself in the Spanish language. And I hope to be able to visit Phil before I come back to the states because there will be a big lay over in Atlanta when I come back in November!

| I love teaching because it is always fun to me-never boring. It's VERY me since forever. It is frustrating at times, but its a positive feeling. And this past week, I fell IN LOVE with teaching.

| I can't help but feel extremely happy for all my friends that are advancing and doing great things. I am truly truly happy for everyone of them! From grad schools to senior thesis projects, to getting internships- its coming along for all..
And, I can not believe that a year ago I made plans to go to grad-school etc. But I am putting that on hold to do other things that will advance me. For once, I am stepping out of the box and it is weird to be in this position. I never step out side of the box, I just follow the straight path. I remember my professor saying that we should take different routes of how we get to class everyday because of the "different" lenses you get, and because we should get out of our daily routine.
I'm scared of what the year lies ahead, but I do have a new plan |
